Design and Build Service

At Reed Architecture Design Ltd. we work collaboratively with a highly reputable builder - AKM Builders NE Ltd. Working in partnership together we create a wraparound service for all of your design and building requirements.

Design and Planning

Contact us and we will guide you through the planning and building regulations process as part of creating your design, including the need for any other professionals where applicable. Once you are happy with your design, plans will be submitted to make a formal planning application to the local authority if required.

Building Regulations and Drawings

Once any planning permission is received, Reed Architecture Design will then complete a package of construction drawings and Building Regulations information which will then be submitted to Building Control for approval.

Construction Pricing

Upon receipt of Conditional Building Regulations Approval your construction package will be passed to AKM Builders NE Ltd. to review. A site meeting will then be arranged to move your project into the pricing stage.

Build

Once your construction price is agreed a date to start on site will be arranged and the duration of the build confirmed with AKM Builders NE Ltd. before work on site commences.
